Edge as Center
Publication design and production
The Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development in the city of Somerville, Massachusetts hired Mightier to design a book documenting their international “Edge as Center” design competition. Held in 2006, the competition generated urban planning and development ideas for the city’s Brickbottom district.
In partnership with architect/editor Anya Bokov, Mightier designed the book, oversaw production, and managed the project from start to finish. The book was published by the city of Somerville in 2007.
