Signal to Noise
publication redesign

Signal to Noise (“the journal of improvised and experimental music”) asked for a redesign of the magazine’s format without confusing or alienating regular readers and advertisers too much.

Mightier developed a new logo, typeface system, and page size/format conventions… without, the publisher was pleased to discover, changing the ad specs.

4- or 2-color cover, 1-color text; 8.25” x 10.5”; approx. 60 pages; perfect bind;
quarterly international circulation of 10,000

Sample image one; two; three; four.
